We are involved in our community by giving back to local organizations, like Gilda’s Club Madison, an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community. Gilda’s Club Madison is an incredible organization that provides free emotional support, cancer education, and hope to children and adults with any kind of cancer and those who care for them.
The Gilda’s Club philosophy is summed up in the intention that no one should face cancer alone. They provide the support that is proven to improve overall health outcomes by offering a healing environment in the Gilda’s Club clubhouse, where individuals can learn from one another and receive guidance from licensed mental health professionals. All programs provided by Gilda’s Club are available at no cost thanks to the generosity of individuals and community partners.
Throughout the year, four signature fundraising events raise a significant portion of the Gilda’s Club Madison annual budget. On Sept. 9, 2024, Beacon Technologies is proud to sponsor Gilda’s Club Red Doors Golf Event, which will be held at the Nakoma Golf Club (4145 Country Club Rd, Madison). The “Best Tasting Round of Golf” features sips and samples throughout the course. Participants will get the opportunity to play golf, while enjoying delicious food and beverages from amazing area restaurants and vendors. Because of these signature fundraising events, and many generous donors, Gilda’s Club can offer programs at no cost to men, women, and children impacted by any kind of cancer and those who care for them.
