Beacon Technologies is seeking a Project Manager for our client partner. Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services. Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending. Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project i.e. product on schedule and within budget constraints. *Must have Financial Services experience. 

• Develop project scope, schedules, project plans, and budgets using tools such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office products.
• Lead and execute projects with tight deadlines for on-time and on-budget deliveries.
• Develop communication plans and communications to project teams, stakeholders, and sponsors.
• Schedule and conduct project team meetings for all ongoing projects.
• Manage all change requests and requirements related to the project.
• Provide project leadership to project team members and across the IT organization.
• Plan, schedule, and facilitate reviews/status of key software project lifecycle milestones with all levels – from project team members to executives.
• Ensure that Project Management tools and methodologies are appropriately applied.
• Oversee and maintain liaison between all parties concerned with the project to facilitate any changes or modifications and to facilitate resolution of project problems including vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
• Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet user requirements.
• Assist with configuration of system settings and options, integration, and acceptance testing; and create specifications to meet business requirements.
• May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems.
• May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
• May be internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions.
• Works closely with other teams to get products and services tested, documented, and implemented.
• Participates in the definition and analysis of efficient, cost-effective solutions which support client business processes and functional requirements.
• Serves as technical resource for assigned area.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education:

• High school degree or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Significant (5-7 years) experience in Operations and/or Implementations.
• Strong skills in critical thinking, analysis, and documentation.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
