Beacon Technologies is seeking a Project Manager - Platform Implementation for our client partner. As our client modernizes their grid and embraces distributed energy resources (DERs), our client is implementing a cutting-edge Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS) to support clean energy goals and customer engagement strategies. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the implementation of enterprise DERMS platform. This is a high-impact role responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of a complex, multi-phase technology initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management for DERMS implementation, from planning through go-live and post-deployment support.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across IT, OT, Control Center, Strategic Sourcing, and IT Security.
• Manage third-party advisory and vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with goals and standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, status reporting, and executive updates.
• Oversee change management and training efforts to ensure smooth adoption.
• Ensure integration with GE ADMS, Oracle C2M, ArcFM GIS, Sensus AMI, and other enterprise systems.
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 7+ years of project management experience, including large-scale software implementations.
• Proven experience managing utility or energy-related technology projects (DERMS, ADMS, SCADA, AMI, etc.).
• Strong understanding of DERMS platforms and distributed energy resource integration.
• Familiarity with GE ADMS is preferred.
• PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
