Beacon Technologies is seeking a Project Manager III for our client partner. The Project Manager will lead staff in the development, maintenance and support of critical priority applications. Candidates will play an integral role on self-directed work teams in support of high priority development projects. Project work will include application architecture design and development, integration with 3rd party software, data conversion, new development and modifications to existing code. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in leading projects which include designing, creating, and maintaining web services, system integration, web development. Preference will be given to qualified candidates with familiarity of State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and development standards and agile scrum development methodology. Our client is currently allowing remote work from home.
Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. No relocation is allowed. Our client prefers that the selected hire resides in the greater Madison area. The contractor must be available to work onsite in Madison, WI headquarters GEF-1 location at our client's request, including consecutive weekdays or extended periods, without reimbursement for travel, lodging, or parking expenses. Project details: This need is part of the new modernization project. The PM will be leading the staff in the development, maintenance and support of critical applications for the division of Unemployment Insurance.
Additional details: The successful candidate will be highly technically competent, a consistently high producer, a good communicator, and an overall team player.
