Job Summary

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Project Manager III for our client partner. This position is needed to lead staff in the development, maintenance and support of critical priority applications supported by our client for division of Unemployment Insurance. Candidates will play an integral role on self-directed work teams in support of high priority development projects. Project work will include application architecture design and development, integration with 3rd party software, data conversion, new development and modifications to existing code. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in leading projects which include designing, creating, and maintaining web services, system integration, web development. Preference will be given to qualified candidates with familiarity of State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and development standards and agile scrum development methodology.

Additional Comments:

  • The successful candidate will be highly technically competent, a consistently high producer, a good communicator, and an overall team player.

  • Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation 12

  • Application Development and Support of CICS/DB2/COBOL/JCL Mainframe Systems: Using Changeman, CNTL-M or the like
  • Web and client-server application development experience, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support 12
  • Mainframe Application Experience (SQL/COBOL/CICS/JCL/DB2)
  • Including Ability to identify and Create Test Data; Creating and Modifying Files and JCL in order to test the accuracy of System Modifications
  • Knowledge of Electronic Document Management, BPM, Workflow, and Scan/Capture software using products such as eDocs and Kofax Total Agility
  • Evaluate and recommend programming languages, design tools and applications 12
  • Scripting – Winbatch, VBScript, AutoIT, PowerShell, DOS Batch, etc. 4
