Job Summary

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Project Manager (P&C Insurance) for our client partner. This project manager will lead an upcoming project to implement a new Renters Platform within our client. Insurance experience is preferred and also experience leading IT projects. Tools usage and knowledge, JIRA, MS Project for project planning, resourcing, forecasting and financial tracking. Experience with Waterfall and Agile. Requisition listed as based out of our client's Sun Prairie, WI office, but candidate could be remote from other locations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects.
  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
  • Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Will report into the Project Management Office.


  • May require a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Bonus if the candidate has experience with large project initiative, collaborating with key stake holder and aligning with department objectives.
  • Preferred experience in the insurance industry.
  • Preferred PMP certification.
