Job Summary

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Product Manager 3 for our client partner. The Product Manager 3 applies a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs and the competitive landscape to drive commercial success and own the strategy, roadmap and delivery of one or more products, with a primary focus on growth products. The Product Manager 3 develops and empowers Product Managers, oversees management of the product lifecycle, conducts revenue and expense modeling, monitors product performance and ensures alignment between internal teams and stakeholders and maximizes delivered value to customers.

RESPOSIBILITIES:

  • Establish, communicate and lead execution of the vision and strategy for assigned products.
  • Ability to manage a global product offering. Understanding the market, financial, legal and operational needs within numerous countries throughout the world.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned on the product roadmap and that the product delivers value.
  • Lead the effort in defining product requirements based on customer insights, market analysis, and competitive landscape; serve as the primary contact between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring the team is translating complex technical requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Own the creation of the product’s business case and P&L statement. This includes market fit, competitors, current & future market segments by county, expense ratios, etc.
  • Oversee prioritization of product backlogs ensuring the team is maximizing value delivery and is in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Ensure processes for customer validation of product concepts and features are completed prior to development, ensuring that all products released to market are based on validated market needs and have a clear business case.
  • Manage and develop a team, identifying skill gaps and providing targeted training to enhance capabilities in areas such as market understanding, agile methodologies, and stakeholder management.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and analyze data to inform product decisions; identify opportunities for improvement, communicate findings to key stakeholders and iterate on strategy to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting.
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Up to 30% travel (foreign & domestic).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • For flexible or full remote work from home positions, reliable high speed Internet connection and dedicated workspace are required
  • Must be located in one of the following locations: AZ, CA, FL, IL, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA or WI
  • 7+ years Technical Product Management experience including:
    • Bringing technical products to market
    • Creating marketing decks, sales material, product videos, market and competitive analysis
    • Bringing products into new markets
    • Oversight of end-to-end feature development process
    • Continuous measurement of product performance
    • Customer feedback
    • Experience with turning metrics into data-driven insights
    • Product strategy & leading roadmaps
    • Managing P&L for products
    • Cost management
    • Defining market segments
    • Using data to drive product rollout and test effectiveness
    • Innovating on new concepts that lead adoption
  • 5+ years people management experience of direct reports to include:
    • Performance management, interviewing/hiring, and other HR related functions
    • Coaching and leadership; Constructive feedback
    • Evaluating individual performance against goals
    • Skills development
  • 3+ years' experience in a Software as a Service (Saas) environment
    • Preferred experience in the Insurance Tech or Collision Repair Industry
  • Ability for up to 30% Travel for Meetings (foreign & domestic)
