Job Summary

The HR Recruiter position is self-motivated, extremely organized and always thinking of process improvements. Strong team player needed. Possibly looking for contract-to-hire for the right fit.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for both exempt and/or nonexempt level positions.
  • Develop and maintain consultative relationships with hiring managers to provide expertise in coaching and guidance in recruitment methods and technologies.
  • Identify, source and engage candidates through creative and innovative sourcing approaches.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates ensuring a positive experience during the recruitment and selection process.
  • Provide consistent status updates to all stakeholders.
  • Thrive as a recruiter in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoy developing scalable strategies that capture the best talent and most diverse candidates at the lowest cost.
  • Proven work experience in both exempt and non-exempt level recruiting.
  • Experience with a variety of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases that include but not limited to UKG (UltiPro), Dice, Indeed, LinkedIn, Monster, etc.
  • Experience creating candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean searches).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to persuade and negotiate.
  • Approach challenges head on with creativity, ideation, determination, and passion that ignites others to do so as well.
  • Working in an HR environment that has very strong team cohesion and comradery across all Human Resource areas: Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, HR Business Partners, Compensation, Benefits, and HR Information Systems working under the Senior Direction of the Chief Strategy Officer.
  • Working for a leader that values, develops, and coaches team members.
  • Working in an HR team that is utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies to enhance and reinforce our effectiveness
  • Ability to work remote.
  • Working in an environment that serves our Nation’s military, veterans, Guard and Reserves along with their families.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience.
  • 1 or more years of experience recruiting.
  • 1 or more years of successful sourcing experience.
  • Experience with HRIS/applicant tracking system, basic HR measurement, and process improvement techniques.
  • Preferred Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Society for Human Resources Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation.
