Job Summary

Beacon Technologies is looking for a skilled Helpdesk IV. This role is located in Madison, Wisconsin.

Job Description

This job will require you to troubleshoot IT issues, independently implement policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected, ensure maximum issue resolutions in minimum time, and evaluate new information systems products or services and suggests changes to existing products or services to better aid the end user.

This requires at least six years of experience in the field. Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Independently, performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Must be an effective and positive communicator and pay attention to detail, take initiative, and work independently and with staff at all levels.

Top Skills: 6 Years of Experience in the following:

Technical skills:

  • Hardware deployment (laptops, phones, keyboards, etc.)
  • Connectivity troubleshooting/networking expertise
  • Testing

Additional skills:

  • Be able to move/connect/wire equipment

Nice to have skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, Analytical/problem solving skills
