Job Summary

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer III for our client partner. Our client is looking for a strong Data Engineer to participate in their Data Management Program. This position will work on a small, collaborative team that uses agile practices to deliver value to business partners. Candidates MUST have Alteryx experience related to ETL, not just Alteryx experience based in data prep. The manager is also looking for candidates with strong and recent SQL skills. Candidates will be required to write complex SQL queries with Alteryx when they interview and will need to answer very detailed questions regarding their background with Alteryx. No Wisconsin residency required. Open to nationwide candidates. This position can work 100% remote within the continental US.

Top Skills & Years of Experience:

  • Gathering requirements and developing technical specifications for ETL – 6 years
  • Using ETL tools to design ETL jobs (ETL 6 years, MINIMUM 2 years of ETL with Alteryx)
  • Developing various types of data loads (e.g. incremental, history/full, survivorship rules) – 6 years
  • Implementing change data capture (CDC) – 4 years
  • Testing and debugging ETL – 6 years
  • Developing complex SQL - 6 years (should be recent experience)
  • ETL job scheduling – 2 years
  • Loading data warehouses using ETL tools – 2 years

Nice to Have:

  • Management of multiple ETL tools
  • Experience with data quality tools and frameworks - preferred
  • Using source code version control software - preferred
