Beacon Technologies is seeking a Data Governance Analyst for our client partner. This new role will primarily be responsible for supporting the implementation of data policies, standards and procedures for enterprise data governance. They will develop and manage data dictionaries, metadata and data catalogs, perform data quality assessments and provide operational support for data stewardship initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Software RFI – looking at various Data Catalog tools
• Evaluation, proof of concept
• Train
• Provide administration and configuration of selected tool
• Create tags, workflows, landing pages
• Python /SQL
• Understand current state, perform assessment for future state
• Get champions informed and have buy in
• Organization size is around 2000 (total including IT)
• Microsoft Purview
• Collibra
• Informatica
• Elation
• Stage 2 on maturity level have a framework and strategy set up
