Beacon Technologies is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer for our client partner. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Directory Services Engineer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience managing Directory Services in large enterprise environments. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Directory Services infrastructure, with a focus on Active Directory, Entra, and Federation Services. You will play a key role in domain controller migrations, domain consolidations, cloud migrations, and process improvement initiatives, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale Directory Services infrastructure, including Active Directory, Entra, and Federation Services.
• Promote and demote domain controllers, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal impact to business operations.
• Lead large-scale domain controller migrations and domain consolidations, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
• Perform regular domain controller health checks, upkeep, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance Directory Services operations and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud migration projects and integrate Directory Services with cloud platforms.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for Directory Services in a high availability, low downtime environment.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and best practices related to Directory Services.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to Directory Services and cloud integration.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Directory Services engineering within large enterprise environments.
• Proven experience with Active Directory, Entra, and Federation Services.
• Demonstrated expertise in promoting and demoting domain controllers and large-scale domain controller migrations.
• Experience with domain consolidation and cloud migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of domain controller health checks, upkeep, and troubleshooting in high availability environments.
• Solid understanding of process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Azure certifications) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, etc.) for Directory Services management.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and identity management solutions.
• Project management experience in migration and consolidation initiatives.
