Job Summary

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst IV for our client partner. This position reports to the IT PMO Supervisor. This position will also work closely with permitting program staff and supervisors, IT technical and enterprise service teams, Strategic Partnerships and Business Relationship Management staff. The roles will utilize IT standards, processes, software, and tools to deliver consistent and high-quality discovery outputs. Candidate must be a current Wisconsin resident. NO RELOCATION ALLOWED. Hybrid, on a weekly basis - currently 60% remote and 40% in the office located in Madison, WI. Hybrid requirement is weekly not monthly.

Top Skills (5) & Years of Experience:

  • Extensive experience conducting business analysis on large or complex IT initiatives. - 10 years
  • Proven ability to lead requirements elicitation through interviews, workshops, and document analysis. – 10 years
  • Strong experience documenting current-state business processes and workflows. - 10 years
  • Experience assessing multiple applications or systems that support similar business functions. – 10 years
  • Ability to identify commonalities, variations, and opportunities for standardization across programs. – 10 years

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with permitting, licensing, regulatory, or case management systems.
  • Experience in government or public sector IT environments.
