Job Summary

Beacon Technologies is seeking an Aftermarket Sales and Customer Service Business Analyst for our client partner. The Aftermarket Sales and Customer Service Business Analyst partners with business stakeholders to bridge the gap between operational teams and digital technology. This role plays a key part in enhancing and optimizing processes to support Aftermarket Sales, Customer Service, and related business functions. The analyst will drive continuous improvement by developing and implementing innovative solutions that increase efficiency, improve data integrity, and enhance the customer experience. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between business users and IT teams, focusing on functionality within the Aftermarket Sales and Customer Service domains. You will analyze existing processes, gather and document requirements, design and test system enhancements, and provide functional support for daily operations. The ideal candidate is both business-savvy and technically minded, capable of translating user needs into scalable solutions.

  • Two (2) years of business analysis or functional experience within Aftermarket, Sales, or Customer Service processes
  • Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and familiarity with ITIL and BA best practices.
  • Experience creating and managing reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support decision-making.
  • Strong working knowledge of modules

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to understand Aftermarket Sales and Customer Service operations, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders to document functional and technical business needs.
  • Develop detailed business requirement documents, functional specifications, and system configuration documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design, test, and deploy system enhancements and integrations that support business goals.
  • Lead and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Create and maintain artifacts including data maps, process flows, test scripts, and knowledge base documentation.
  • Provide ongoing support for production environments, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure timely resolution of problems.
  • Partner with project managers and other analysts to ensure timely delivery of projects and enhancements.
  • Stay current with updates, tools, and best practices to recommend and implement relevant improvements.
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards, policies, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of business analysis or functional experience within Aftermarket, Sales, or Customer Service processes.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong working knowledge of modules.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and familiarity with ITIL and BA best practices.
    • Experience creating and managing reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support decision-making.
