Beacon Technologies is seeking an Accounting Technical Lead for our client partner.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Prepare & approve complex journal entries in Oracle Fusion General Ledger.
• Prepare & approve balance sheet account reconciliations in Blackline.
• Compile data for external (PwC) and internal audit teams in adherence with control standards.
• Work with IT on various balance reconciling variances.
• Provide coaching and oversight of the work performed by offshore accountants.
• Complete analytics for various assigned balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze business results and document key drivers for changes in business vs planned or forecasted results. Compile and analyze receivables data.
• Maintain internal controls and appropriate documentation for processes and desktop procedures.
• Complete ad hoc accounting projects or analysis as assigned by manager.
• Need Oracle Fusion experience, 4-year accounting degree, 5+ years insurance accounting experience (Property & Casualty preferred but will consider health / life).
• Must have strong problem solving, communication skills as well as advanced Excel skills.
