  • Provides expert level technical assistance in support and preparation of telecom supported applications and hardware.
  • Requires extensive knowledge and experience with the following technologies including but not limited to: legacy telephony systems (PBX, voicemail, Centrex); call accounting; VoIP and associated networking; wireless devices and peripherals (smart devices); video conferencing; desktop operating systems, applications, and hardware.
  • This position serves as second and third level support for telecom related issues.
  • Has 4 or more years of experience in the above outlined areas.
  • Familiar with a variety of associated concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Independently performs a variety of tasks, but also works in tandem with a team.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Qualifications to be considered:

  • Initiate and process telephone service requests (move/add/change). Create telecom vendor orders (4 years)
  • Problem analysis and resolution: Provide tier 1 support for telecom system and service (4 years)
  • Experience managing VOIP telephony systems (3 years)
  • IBM compatible PCs (2 years)
  • Installation and Maintenance of PCs (2 years)
  • Network Topology (4 years)
  • Troubleshooting all hardware (4 years)
  • ACD/UCD Design/support. Terminate and install telecom service and equipment (phones, headsets, etc. (2 years)
  • Cable/Fiber Management (2 years)
  • Ethernet (4 years)
  • Local Area Networks (LAN) (4 years)
  • PBX (2 years)
  • TCP/IP (4 years)
  • Telecommunication: Design and configure Centrex analog and digital service (2 years)
  • Telecommunication: Design and configure of ACD, VoIP, and IVR systems (3 years)
  • Telecommunications (4 years)
  • Video Conferencing (2 years)
  • Wireless Experience: Activate and support cellular and Smartphone services and devices to include iPad Galaxy Tablets (2 years)
