Job Summary

Job description:

This role requires an energetic, customer service-oriented technologist with a minimum of 3-5 years applicable work experience in Citrix (V6.5 & 7.x), Windows Server administration, PowerShell scripting, and application support. Familiarity with O365 and fax server technologies is a plus. This individual will have a highly effective ability to communicate directly with our end user community. Problem-solving and a teamwork mentality is critical for this position.



  • Management/administration of Citrix Xenapp Server (V6.5 & 7.x) and Netscaler hardware
  • Installation, maintenance and administration of Remote Desktop Services
  • Installation, maintenance and administration of Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Management of Microsoft server security configuration and patching
  • Provisioning and administration of user access credentials and folder permissions
  • Maintenance and administration of DHCP, DNS, IIS, FTP and other network services
  • Administration of server hardware and software inventories and documentation
  • Monitor and work customer support tickets and requests
  • Respond to server resource monitoring alerts
  • Knowledge of and applied experience of handling performance monitoring and tuning
  • Ability to participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call schedule
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Citrix XenApp 6.5 and 7.x
  • Windows Server: 2008 - 2019
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
  • Knowledge and understanding of server virtualization focused on VMware products
  • Demonstrate basic to intermediate scripting knowledge and skills with PowerShell
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a time-critical production environment
  • Ability to comprehend systems architecture and design
  • Ability to gather, interpret, document, and evaluate server requirements
  • Ability to conduct research into server and application issues, as required
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated, with keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer service orientation and work ethic
  • Experience working in a dispersed, team-oriented, collaborative environment


  • Associates degree, trade school certificate or equivalent hands-on work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in server configuration management, administration and production support
  • Microsoft Server systems certifications preferred such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP are valued
