Business Analyst
A Beacon Business Analyst (BA) elicits requirements using a variety of techniques and defines business rules. The BA evaluates the information gathered, reconciles conflict, takes high-level information and breaks it down into details, and distinguishes user requests from business needs. The BA communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers to develop requirements specifications. He or she also analyzes functional requirements; develops user acceptance tests; and delivers business requirements documentation, use cases, screen designs and other information as required.
Required Skills:
- Ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, subject matter experts and technical resources
- Understands data, business and functional issues
- Attention to detail and a quick learner
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of BABOK
- Formal training in Business Analysis
- Methodology experience with Agile, RAD, Waterfall, SDLC or others
- Experience writing use cases and doing fit/gap assessments
- Process documentation
